What are the best treatments you’ve used for acne?

I get those stupid little bumps that don’t puss or anything and I’m having a really difficult time getting rid of them. I’m an avid dancer and because of that I have a really good diet and get a lot of exercise as well as lots of water. What has worked well for you guys? Any homemade treatments?

It’s your hormones that produces acne. Genetics can cause acne.

    - get a face wash. Wash your face twice per day: morning and night.
    - Don’t put on creamy or heavy lotion. Get one that is suited for oily skin. The label will say, "oil-free" or "noncomedogenic".
    - Use sunscreen everyday.
    - Use benzoyl peroxide whenever you have a zit. Do not pop your zit as that can leave a scar. Toothpaste also helps. Use the whitening one, not the gel toothpaste.
    - If possible get a kit like Pro-Active. Use the three step program to get rid of your acne.
-If you don’t want Pro-Active, you can get the Clean and Clear Acne Control kit.

◙ Wash your face consistently and everyday to see results.
◙ If your acne is really bad and severe, then you can go to the dermatologist to prescribe you Accutane or acne drugs that could help you get rid of your acne.
◙ If the drugs doens’t work, then it could be a hormonal problem.

i use an olay soap bar, and even though it isnt made for pimples, but to smooth the skin, it still cleared many of my pimples and reduced the size of others. :D

You might find this really digusting but I use to have really bad acne on my forehead and my aunt told me to just apply my own spit throughtout the day. Usually mornings and nights and it reallyyyy worked!!!!

ProActiv, but don’t use it if you have dry skin. I only use it around my period though. If you want something homemade, then just use hydrogen peroxide overnight.

Ive tried everything. The best thing that I did was start taking birth control and got my doctor to prescribe me Tretinoin Cream. You put it in after you wash your face at night. The first two weeks my skin was really dry so I applied it every other night. After about a month of taking the birth control and using the Tretinoin Cream my skin is completely clear. I now am still on the birth control and apply the Tretinoin cream at night. My skin has adjusted, no longer gets dry and has cleared up significantly.

Mary Kay has a great acne treatment regimen that works well. It has the facial wash, toner, and acne gel. It works for females and males. You just wash your face 2 times daily like normal, apply the toner and then the acne gel. Works Great!

i have tried everything. poroactive, murad, clearisil, clean and clear, you name it. the only thing that i found that works for me is benzaclin. Its a prescription and costs about 20 bucks for a months supply. it doesnt dry your face out or anything. Its a acream you apply every night before bed, and i had really bad acne so i applied it in the morning after i got out of the shower. within a week, my face was clear of my pimples. i love that stuff.

neutrogena products. i had horrrrrrible acne and nothing works over night but neutrogena daily cleanser and mask is amazing also their scrubs are great too, you’ll feel so clean and refreshed after you use it! i alternate every day with the mask and the scrub morning and night. also to reduce redness you can use eucerin redness relief night cream

I’ve tried Proactiv, Acne Free, Nuetrogina Products, Tretinoin, Clindamycin, Rosaderm, and plenty of washes. The only thing that i found affective is Differin. You need a perscription and insurance covers most of the price. You apply it every night and in the morning the bumps literally minimize :)

since your a dancer its probably just from sweating carry face cleansing cloths or pad (i like oxy) around with you to use if you have time use face wash and water cetephil should work for you

more than likely they arent even pimples just clogged pores so you dont really need anything strong and shouldnt need to go to a doctor either

    # Use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment works to prevent acne. Proactiv Solution with its three step solution has also done great things in removing those zits.

I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
