I suffer from cystic acne and need help getting rid of it.?

I have tried oral antibiotics such as tetracycline and others like it, all worked okay but soon i became immune and no longer would the bacteria fighting agents be affective. Instead of continuing down the RX path, i would rather try natural or day spa treatments. Has anybody tried natural supplements for CYSTIC ACNE or got spa services that showed improvement in the skin? In case you don’t know, CYSTIC ACNE is a whole different kind of acne. Produced by non typical oils, acids, and bacteria in the follicle and dis functions shedding dead skin cells. Therefore products like proactive and such topical acne treatments are completely pointless.
Also does anyone know of any kind of creams that will reduce the purplish color that comes with this kind of acne? Please no recommendations that haven’t been successful for you or someone you know. Thanks so much for the help!

Im sorry to say I have not found ANYthing that helps with acne. Nothing.
I have tried EVERYthing. Well….the only thing I havent tried is a dermabrasion (sp?)
Its a much more simple treatment these days. Used to be more painful from what Ive been told.
I dont know how much it would cost. But I want to have it done someday.

Ive tried the pills ( tetrycyclene – etc) Ive even tried a $200 ointment….I forget the name of it. ( I had insurance at the time so it cost me $40) But like ALL prescription creams and ointments- it brings OUT the sh!t before clearin it up! Grrr…I can tell you that I think mine has gotten better since Ive gotten older. (im 29) I have had HUGE cysts. One the size of a quarter. Was terrible and caused some scarring.
I wish I could tell you somethin helpful but your hormones have a lot to do with it and ,,,omg I am SO sick of people assuming we have acne cuz we dont wash our faces enough! Thats bull.

    Just remember this,,,

Do NOT use facial scrubs! If you need to exfoliate (sp?) only do that once a week. Makes you break out more!
Do NOT use harsh products with alot of alcohol content.
Do NOT waste anymore money on Proactive. That crap is,,,,crap.

Oh wait,,,the purplish color..omg =( Try Persa-Gel cream. It has peroxide in it and may reduce the purpleness.

I did some research and talked to my doctor to find the most common causes of acne.

    • Hormones: The number one cause of acne is the production of sex hormones, known as androgen, that begins at puberty. This is why majority of acne sufferers are adolescents and teens. Hormones are responsible for then acne flare-ups during menstruation and pregnancy.

    • When the sebaceous gland is stimulated by androgens, it produces extra sebum. In its journey up the follicle toward the surface, the sebum mixes with common skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the follicle. While this process is normal, the presence of extra sebum in the follicle increases the chances of clogging — and acne.

    • Stress: can also cause the production of hormones, such as cortisol, which can aggravate acne. Stress brings upon different hormone levels. With hormone changes the body prompts the skins oil glands to enlarge, secreting more oil. Which causes white heads, black heads and pimples.

    • Oily or heavy make up: Heavy make-up clogs the pores and oily make-ups add more oil, which only adds to the problem if oily skin already exists. Cosmetics, especially certain moisturizers, foundations and pomades contain lanolin, petrolatum, vegetable oils, butyl stearate, lauryl alcohol and oleic acid.

    • Certain medications and steroids: Vitamins are good for your body, But an excess of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 can cause acne flare-ups. These vitamins are good for the skin, but avoid overuse.

    • Diets: For some people, a diet that is high in refined carbohydrates and sugars can actually aggravate their acne.

    • Over abrasive cleansing: Harsh exfoliators can damage skin and spread infections.

    • Picking and squeezing: This can actually send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause scarring.

    • Environmental irritants: such as high humidity and pollution. High humidity actually causes swelling of skin. Pollution is of course is a big cause for clogging your pores.

    • Genes: Family members who are also acne sufferers. Acne is inherited and severe cases known as cystic acne usually come from heredity.

    And..,

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She’s sharing her story at her site:

Maybe you could learn from her inspirational story.

    Good luck.

There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.

It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It’s been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

Search up "Cee En’s Acne Solution" on ebay.

First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40, 3 month for $100, or 6 month supply for $150

It’s expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don’t have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

check the seller’s feedbacks on the cream

    I hope this helps. =)
