Which cleanser/products should I purchase?

I washed and waxed my uncle’s truck this past weekend, and he gave me . I save the small weekly allowance that I get, and because I’m in need of some new skincare products, I wanted to head over to my local Walgreens to buy me a new cleanser, and possibly a few other products. Walgreens is also great because I’m only 16 and dig great deals!

I have pretty normal skin, but this past year I moved from a dry climate to a humid climate. Before my skin was pretty much perfect, and I’d break out once or twice every couple of months. Now, I always have little flesh-colored bumps around my chin, there are blotchy spots and pinkish scars, and I’ve been getting very painful, large cystic pimples. I’ve tried quite a few products, I’ve tried not using anything, and so far nothing works. All the cleansers I have tried do nothing to prevent the acne, so I’m really wanting to find a good cleanser.

Which cleanser should I purchase: ‘Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser’ or ‘Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Cleanser’?
If you have any other suggestions, that would be great!

I was also going to purchase ‘Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment’, as it has received excellent reviews. The ‘Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque’ has good reviews as well, and is pretty cheap.
Any comments about these products?

So, would a good acne fighting/preventing routine be using one of the above cleansers, toning with witch hazel, applying oil-free moisturizer, and apply the 3-in-1 acne treatment twice a day? And then to exfoliate 2-3 times a week with St. Ives Apricot Scrub (this does nothing for my acne, but it leaves my skin really smooth and refreshed) and use the Mint Julep mask once a week and as a spot treatment overnight?

I’m trying to keep my routine a little more consistent and gentle then it’s been lately, and I also want to get rid of these annoying, painful pimples without seeing a dermatologist!

Oh, and has anyone tried the mask sheets from The Face Shop? You can buy these from Walgreens now, and they look pretty interesting.
Any and all tips and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
I really don’t have the money to buy anything expensive. If I could I would, but there is no way I have enough cash to splurge on stuff like that, nor do my parents.
I’m kind of stuck at Walgreens/Walmart here =/
Right now, all I do is wash my face twice a day, and follow that up with an all natural witch hazel toner and an oil-free moisturizer. The cleanser is called PanOxyl, and it’s the only acne product I’ve been using because most spot treatments are too harsh and make my skin itchy/red.
I’m a vegetarian, so I eat well.
Maybe it’s just hormones. =[

    STOP!!! Stop, stop, stop.

You are washing your face way too often and using way too many products that don’t work with each other.

You are stripping your skin of its natural oils which is why your acne is getting worse.

You only need to wash your face when you wake up, and before you go to bed, moisturizing each time.

Drink more water, eat raw fruits and vegetables, keep your hands away from your face, and use the same brand of one cleanser, one moisturizer, and one spot treater for big blemishes. The Neutrogena brand has products for each of these.

I DONT LIKE ANY WALGREENS PRODUCTS, SORRY…
I GO FOR REAL STUFF MADE OUT OF REAL HERBALS THAT ARE TRUELY BETTER FOR THE SKIN.
STUFF AT WALGREENS ARE USURALY PACT WITH CHEMICALS AND ARE TERRIBLE FOR THE SKIN.
I WILL ADMIT I LIKE TO USE THE ST IVES APRICORE ONCE EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS BUT THERE IS WAY WAY WAY BETTER PRODUCTS OUT THERE.
    GO FOR BRANDS LIKE THIS
    WELEDA,
    AUBREY,
    MYCHELLE,
    JURLIQUE,

edit: If you can’t afford these products atleast save an extra 10 dollers and go look at the Aubrey they have the whole skin range Facial cleanser, toner, moisturiser plus a mask for around 35$ So its not too expensive. If you realy want my parents own a Organic Manufactoring company and they have been manufactoring organic skincare for over 10 years now and have over 20 brands…I could send you a whole skin range for free and they arint going to strip your natural oils… you tell me if you want a cream cleanser or a gel cleanser…i personaly think the cream cleanser is the best and doesnt strip oils away.

Here are some tips for your acne.
Get 15 -20 minutes of Sun a day..( Sun has vitamin E)
Wash face with warm salt and water.
Keep face clean try not to clog your pores with makeup.
Most importantly make sure its clean before going to bed because when you sleep your skin repairs itself.
Keeping your face clean is the most important thing..

Neutrogena and Aveeno don’t work for me. I like using a gentle cleanser and oil free moisturizer. Then I use the St. Ives for blemish and blackhead control (if you have the invigorating one, try the blemish one). I like the Queen Helene Masque.

I don’t know what you call cheap, but you can get something really personalized for only $40. Just go to skinid.com (by Neutrogena) and take the test. It will give you a 3 step acne solution just for your skin. Also, while using that, make sure all of your make-up and hair stuff is oil free, make sure you don’t combine it with any other products, Keep your pillow case and bedsheets clean, and wash with really hot water, rinse with warm, and then rinse again very lightly with cold. it will "seal in" the product. =] Hope I helped!
